Privacy policy
Libre Couture Ltd is the data controller for the personal information you give us. This policy explains what we collect, why, and how you can control it.

01What we collect
Account details: name, email, phone, city and profile photo. Listing content: photographs, descriptions, measurements and availability. Transaction records: rentals, purchases, addresses for delivery, tracking and returns.
Payment card details are entered directly with our payment processor and are never stored on Libre servers. Sellers who take payouts complete identity verification with the processor, who shares only the verification status with us.
02Why we use it
To operate your account and the marketplace, take payment, arrange delivery and returns, resolve damage disputes, prevent fraud and meet legal and tax obligations.
With your consent, to send marketing and saved-search alerts. You can withdraw consent at any time from your account or any email footer.
03Who we share it with
Our payment processor, carriers (Royal Mail, Evri, DPD, UPS), cleaning partners, and our hosting and email providers, each acting under contract.
The other party to a transaction sees the delivery details necessary to complete it. We never sell your data.
04How long we keep it
Transaction and tax records are kept for six years. Account and listing data is kept while your account is open and for 12 months after closure, unless a dispute or legal obligation requires longer.
05Your rights
Under UK GDPR you can request access, correction, erasure, restriction, portability, and object to processing based on legitimate interests or direct marketing.
Contact privacy@librecollective.store to exercise any of these. You may also complain to the Information Commissioner's Office.
06Security
Access to member data is restricted per account at the database level, transfers are encrypted in transit, and payment credentials stay with our processor.
